The Seasons

Every season in Myoko offers different experiences, scenery and cultrual events.

Myoko is of course famous for its heavy snowfall and meters of world class powder snow. During this season while skiing maybe the number one attraction in the area there are plenty of other activities you can try. Snowshoe through secluded forests, make local dishes and experience traditional local events.

After the snow has melted Myoko and Nagano become a green paradise. Offering beautiful woodland walks, hiking trails, sea side bike rides, traditional villages and temples as well as delicious local foods.

A visit during the green season opens up a huge variety of activities, including golfing on the numerous local course that offer world class golfing experiences.

Getting to Myoko

Myoko is easy to reach from both Tokyo and Osaka areas of Japan. You can easily use the bullet train to go to either Nagano Station or Joetsu Myoko Station. From there Myoko is just a short local train ride. We can also arrange pick up and transfers for you as part of your package with us.
