Taiko Experience with Myoko Local Team【Private Tour】

Try your hand at taiko, a traditional Japanese performing art, with a taiko drumming team based in Myoko Kogen! Under the instruction of the team, you will actually play and practice the taiko drums, and perform together in the traditional costume at the end of the class.

This activity is also a program to support the local taiko team which had toured abroad several times in the past, but has become less active due to the declining number of performers.  Your participation will not only support the team financially by including donation in the activity fee, but also help raise the awareness of this culturally important asset in the local community for the younger generation.

• Afternoon tour (2:00pm~4:00pm) -Weekends only
• Evening tour  (6:30pm~8:30pm) - Tuesdays (or inquire us for availability)

Optional: Lunch/Dinner in the Myoko Kogen area before the activity (Sushi, Izakaya, Okonomiyaki, etc.)
